This is first public version with write support enabled and debug
messages disabled. It has been tested for over a year (hundreds
gigabytes of data has been transferred) and I hope all critical bugs
has been already removed. During the test period this filesystem
worked very stable and never caused a serious disk structure
corruption. Please read the disclaimer before using it.

The article is very extensive, and the author is reporting his first-hand, hands-on experience from using and seeing the Efika live in action (which makes this article one of a kind right now; no second hand information or marketing material, but a report from a live experience). The article contains many pictures, and at the end there are also five videos to view, where the Efika is showing off in two 3D games, and playing 3 movie trailers. This article is *highly recommended* reading to anyone interested in PPC hardware ...

| [News] AmiATLAS Status Report | Link |
| Posted on 03-Oct-2006 15:29 GMT by Andreas Magerl | 0 comments Add comment | | At the moment a complete rework/update of the different travel guides is in progress. Further there is an extension of the information about parks with better maps for a more precise route calculation. Of course the emphasis lies on the German map because of the much higher demand. The network of streets is uptodate including recently opened highway sections.
If someone wishes his residence to be included (even the smallest places!) in the map just write a mail with the name of the location, Geo-coordinates and information on the street connections (description and the exact distance to other locations).
As always we are searching for helpers for data entering! Lists of coordinates are always welcome... Alternatively also helpers for the entering of the data into the maps themself.
There are also possibilities for the view and print od data in various formats like HTML or PDF instead of AmigaGuide.
